What is the benefit of using a New Jersey general contractor?
There are several reasons for using a GC. With a GC all the responsibilities for the job such as, subcontractor management, electrical, plumbing, masonry, scheduling, etc. lie in one place. This means you do not have to spend your time and effort interviewing, hiring, monitoring performance, chasing after, or paying, ten different people.
Are you insured?
Proper insurance is imperative to you as a home or business owner. We, and our subs, carry liability insurance as well as workmen’s comp. Many of our replacement door and windows competitors do not carry comp. This is important because it protects you the home or business owner from lawsuits from an injured worker on your premises.
When you start my job will you stay until it’s complete or disappear after you get it going?
We have been and continue to be committed to completing a job in a timely manner once it’s started. We do not walk away from a job partially done. You will always know our plans and schedule from the time the contract is signed.
Why would I want to share my project budget with you at the time of your initial visit?
I understand the concerns about this; however, it is important to discuss the budget for the project to determine if you are able to build what you want for the budget you have. If we know your cost concerns up front we can better aim the product toward your goal. It is always understood that you may be getting other prices to assure you are not being over charged.
How messy will the construction be to my property and home?
We clean up daily and always leave the area broom clean or better when necessary. We also typically keep a dumpster or debris trailer on site when needed to help keep a clean construction site.
